Faculty Office Hours


Dr. Laxmi Baxi is a physician with subspecialty training in Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM).  She has been at Sloane Hospital for Women since 1979, has held many leadership positions and received awards for her teaching excellence.  She sees patients at the Irving (aka Atchley) Pavilion, Room 408, on the following days:

Dr. Todd Rosen is in the Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine.  He has extensive clinical and research experience in diagnosing complex fetal and maternal conditions and is happy to have students shadow him during his sessions with patients. Dr. Rosen sees patients at the Irving Pavilion, Room 456, on the following days:

Dr. Eileen DeMarco is a general obstetrician/ gynecologist with subspecialty training in urogynecology.  She has received awards and rave reviews from students in the past for her outstanding teaching. Dr. Sophia Drosinos is a general obstetrician/ gynecologist with a special interest in the NY Yankees!  She serves as a preceptor each year and is a favorite with students. You may contact her office directly at (212) 317-4541 to arrange a time to attend her office hours.


Dr. Anita LaSala is in the Division of MFM.  She has expertise in prenatal screening and diagnosis and specializes in treating patients with infectious disease.  She sees patients at the Irving Pavilion, Room 454, on the following day:

Dr. Richard Levine has been practicing obstetrics and gynecology for thirty years.  He is very dedicated to teaching students and is active in the leadership of Sloane Hospital for Women.

Dr. Lynn Simpson is in the Division of MFM and is the Director of Labor & Delivery.  She is an expert in the area of ultrasound, fetal echocardiography and special procedures such as chorionic villus sampling, amniocentesis and fetal blood sampling.  Her research interests include congenital heart disease and multiple pregnancy.  She has also received teaching awards for her commitment to medical education.
