“Effect of Hormone and Estrogen therapy cessation on Health and Quality of Life after publication of the Women’s Health Initiative”:
The goal of this study is to examine the effects of hormone therapy cessation on the development of the metabolic syndrome in women who stopped after the publication of the Women’s Health Initiative, the largest coordinated study of women’s health ever undertaken, These women are now 10 years past  he event, in 2002, we have an opportunity to look at the cessation of these medications and their effect on these subjects’ health. This study involves recruiting patients at doctors’ offices.

“Does hormone therapy delay increase in blood pressure after menopause?”:
This study will examine the public dataset of the Women’s Health Initiative to see if there is an effect of withdrawal of hormone replacement and the development of hypertension.
