Biography

Dr. Constance A. Young began her career in women’s health in private practice in Westchester, New York, providing general obstetrical and gynecologic care. She narrowed her focus to gynecology and gynecologic surgery, particularly minimally invasive surgical treatment of benign diseases in 2002. She has served as director of gynecology at Bronx-Lebanon Hospital Center, a teaching hospital of Albert Einstein College of Medicine (AECOM), and as director of gynecology at Jacobi Medical Center, also a teaching hospital of AECOM. Most recently, she was director of women’s health services at Community Healthcare Network, a network of Federally Qualified Health Centers providing care to the uninsured and underinsured in the boroughs of New York.

Dr. Young’s area of focus is on finding the best possible treatment for the individual patient, whether through surgery, medical therapy, or a combination of both. If surgery is warranted, she incorporates minimally invasive modalities with feasible understanding that every solution has to work for the individual’s lifestyle.
