Biography
Dr. Holden specializes in the care of women with routine pregnancies, as well as those complicated by hypertension, thyroid disease, pregestational and gestational diabetes, and twins after infertility treatment. He collaborates with high risk obstetrical specialists for complicated pregnancies involving cervical incompetence, intrauterine growth restriction, and fetal anomalies. He works as part of a multiphysician group that shares the overnight call hours and shares a low risk philosophy of reducing unnecessary episiotomies, inductions of labor and cesarean sections.
Dr. Holden also treats women with gynecological problems including abnormal pap tests, contraceptive side effects, painful or heavy periods, fibroid tumors and ovarian cysts. He performs colposcopy and LEEP procedures, as well as laparoscopy, myomectomy, vaginal and abdominal hysterectomy.
