Biography
Dr. Morrell received her undergraduate degree at Georgetown University and completed medical school at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY. She was a resident at Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center. She completed a fellowship in Family Planning at Columbia University Medical Center, and will receive a M.Sc. in Epidemiology in 2012. Her clinical interests include reproductive health services with a focus on all forms of contraception, including sterilization. Her research focus includes contraception and obesity, and procedural pain control. Board certified in obstetrics and gynecology, Dr. Morrell is proficient in Medical Spanish.
