Biography

Dr. Scott-Ram completed her Doctor of Medicine at New York University School of Medicine in New York, and continued her OB/GYN education by completing a residency at Prentice Women’s Hospital of Northwestern University in Chicago, IL. During her years at medical school, Dr. Scott-Ram also completed a Master of Science in Public Health at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, in London, England. Dr. Scott-Ram is very interested in community and international service. She has volunteered in a variety of domestic and international venues, including a clinic for homeless women in San Francisco, a pediatric hospital in Cusco, Peru, and a government hospital in Kumasi, Ghana. Most recently, she was a co-leader for the working group at the Northwestern Hospital Committee on Domestic Violence in Chicago, IL. Currently, she is a volunteer physician with International Surgical Missions. Her obstetric interests include advanced maternal age, multiple gestations, and pregnant athletes. Her gynecologic interests focus on STD prevention, menstrual irregularities, PCOS, fibroid management, sexual dysfunction, and comprehensive gynecological care for women with medical problems.
