Gynecologic Oncology Fellowship

General Overview:
The mission of the joint Gynecologic Oncology Fellowship Program at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia University Medical Center and the Weill Cornell Medical Center is to provide the framework, resources and academic environment necessary in order to establish a foundation of basic science and clinical knowledge, supporting successful academicians in Gynecologic Oncology. Our three-year program follows all required guidelines and is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG).

New York-Presbyterian Hospital (NYPH) is the hospital structure for the Columbia University and Weill Cornell Medical Centers, and our Gynecologic Oncology fellowship represents a joint program between these two teaching hospitals. Our three-year program consists of fellows doing one year of research at one of the campuses, and two years of clinical/surgical experience, rotating every 6 months between campuses.

The combined program of the academic medical centers and the shared determination to pioneer innovative new treatment modalities positions NYPH to set a new standard of excellence in healthcare. Additionally, the partnership with two Ivy League medical schools — Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons and Weill Medical College of Cornell — makes NYPH a leader in advancing the frontiers of medicine across a broad range of illnesses and diseases. U.S. News & World Report has consistently recognized NYPH as one of "America's Best Hospitals" based on reputation, outcomes and other factors, including nursing quality.
