Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery

Welcome to the Columbia University Medical Center fellowship in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery. This is a comprehensive fellowship program in which trainees are exposed to the breadth and depth of minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. Our vision is to train the future leaders in MIGS in both academic and community centers.

The fellowship program is unique in that we offer the only three year program where the first year is dedicated solely to research. The program bears dual affiliations with both CUMC and The Nicholson Center, which carries a relationship with the University of Central Florida, College of Medicine. During the span of 2 clinical years, trainees will be exposed to a large volume of simple and advanced surgical cases in benign gynecology, reproductive infertility and urogynecology under close faculty supervision. The program provides a balanced experience in hysteroscopy, vaginal, laparoscopic and robotic procedures.

Finally, we are located in one of the largest, most diverse cities in the world that offers fellows in a training a wide range of cultural activities and experiences. Upon completion of fellowship, our graduates have superb clinical and research skills and are prepared for a variety of career options. I hope you will explore our on-line information and contact me with any questions.
