We have compiled a list of FAQ's that we hope will help clarify many of these you may have.How many positions does your program offer? What is your accreditation status? What is your application deadline? Do you accept Foreign Medical Graduates (FMGs)? Do you have a cutoff for years after graduation from medical school? How many letters of recommendation are needed? Are Housestaff required to do research? What are your minimum USMLE scores? We do not have a specific "minimum" score. At Columbia University, we regard ourselves as being highly competitive program and we review each application in its entirety. USMLE Step 2 scores are not required at the time of application; however, they MUST be submitted once you are selected into the program. Is subsidized housing available? While the University does not provide housing, there are resources available to assist with the process and a housing stipend is given to each resident to defray the cost of living in New York.
