Application Process
Appointments to the first year of residency are made through the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP) and the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS). All applications MUST be complete for an applicant to be considered for our program. This includes all of the following: | 1. | A completed AAMC-NRMP application for residency | | 2. | An official copy of your USMLE scores | | 3. | An official medical school transcript | | 4. | AT LEAST three letters of recommendation from faculty members familiar with your performance | | 5. | Dean's Letter |
Please note that we do not accept hard copies of applications.
A carefully selected pool of applicants will be offered interviews on campus. Invitations to interview will be offered in mid-November. Interviews will be held on the following dates:

We will be accepting applications via ERAS through November 15, 2009.

Residency applicants may begin selecting and applying to programs.
Medical schools, ECFMG, NBME and NBOME will begin transmitting residency-supporting documents.

Date for all applications to be submitted to Columbia University's Department of OB/GYN.
Dean's Letters/MSPEs are released at 12:01am November 1st.
Invitations for interviews will be offered in early November. A
carefully selected pool of applicants will receive an invitation. Those
applicants selected by our Residency Selection Committee will be
contacted prior to the above interview dates.
