Principal Investigator

Research in the Williams lab is primarily focused in three areas.  The first is to develop and utilize novel technologies for very rapid genetic testing of embryos and miscarriage samples. The second area of our work focuses on developing methods to enable isolation, sequencing and analysis of circulating extracellular RNAs (exRNA) and to use these methods to non-invasively monitor the placental function in real-time.  Finally, the Williams lab use in-vivo imaging, RNASeq, whole-genome sequencing, cellular and biochemical methods to investigate cases of unexplained recurrent pregnancy loss.
