Gynecologic Surgery
Introduction
Welcome to the Division of Gynecologic Surgery at Columbia University. We offer patients comprehensive gynecologic surgical care, including a wide range of consultation and treatment options, from routine testing to the most advanced diagnosis and treatment for women of all ages. All of our physicians hold academic appointments at Columbia University’s College of Physicians and Surgeons and have completed an accredited residency training program. Many have completed sub-specialty training in infertility, urogynecology, laparoscopic surgery and gynecologic oncology. We work closely with specialists throughout NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital-Columbia University Medical Center (NYP-CUMC) to coordinate your care, if necessary.
Minimally Invasive Approach
Our surgeons employ the latest technology to treat various female reproductive tract disorders. We provide surgical care for adults, children and adolescents. We strive to take the least invasive, vaginal approach to surgery whenever possible, and we regularly use laparoscopic and robotic techniques to minimize patients’ recovery times.
